Chippewa Valley Basketball
Chippewa Valley basketball has a long standing tradition of excellence in Macomb County. As a charter member of the Macomb Area Conference Red Division, Chippewa Valley has played in the MAC's highest league every year of its existence. The Big Reds have won 9 of MAC Red Championships ('86, '88, '96, '97, '99, '02, '03, '04, '11), more then any other school during that time. They have added 9 district championships ('86, '88, '96, '98, '99, '03, '04, '05, '11, '17, '19. '21) and 1 regional championship ('87) to that number. They are currently led by one of the most successful coaches in Macomb County Basketball History. The Big Reds have also been named Macomb County Team of the year in 4 times ('86, '96, '99, '04).
The current crop of Big Reds have a lot to live up to and will hopefully carry the torch of a proud Big Red Faithful.
